Accounts Payable Invoice Automation Solution with AI Integration

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking proposals for an Accounts Payable (AP) Invoice Automation Solution with integrated artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The solution should replace the University's current invoice submission system and integrate seamlessly with the University's ERP system, PeopleSoft. The selected solution must leverage AI to reduce or eliminate manual data entry, accelerate approval workflows, ensure compliance with University and regulatory requirements, and facilitate secure, timely vendor payments. Some key features and requirements of the solution include: • Ability to integrate with PeopleSoft • Ability to handle two and three-way processing • Ability to read and extract data from invoices using modern techniques (e.g., optical character recognition (OCR), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, natural language processing models, etc.) • Ability to interpret and apply University policies to invoices • Ability to provide post-implementation training and materials • Ability to provide maintenance and support throughout the project and during the term of any resulting contract.
