Detroit Supply Schedule #3 Guard Services

The City of Detroit is seeking qualified firms to provide guard services for various city facilities. The contract will be for a period of five years, with an option to extend for an additional five years. The selected firm will be responsible for providing uniformed and licensed armed and unarmed security service personnel. The firm must have experience in providing similar services and must be able to demonstrate its ability to meet the requirements of the contract. The contract will be awarded to the firm that offers the best value to the City of Detroit, taking into consideration factors such as price, experience, and compliance with the solicitation. Some key responsibilities of the contract include: • Providing access control and incident/emergency response services • Hiring, training, and administration of personnel • Cost accounting and billing • Developing written access control procedures and submitting them to the owner for approval • Providing employees capable of meeting the requirements and specifications of the contract • Developing a plan to achieve emergency-related coverage within the building
