The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration is seeking professional design services for the Department of Military Affairs in the design and project oversight to construct a 4,552 SQFT Band Training Facility addition that supports individual and collective training, administrative, automation and communications, and logistical requirements for the Band. The project consists of the conversion of the existing G6 building to a permanent construction Band Training Facility (BTF). The BTF facility addition includes the following items, integral for a specially designed acoustic performance space. The project will require comprehensive interior design services. This facility will be designed to meet Industry Standards as well as all local, State, and Federal building codes. Key aspects of the project include: • The project budget is $2,500,000.00 for design and construction. • The project requires the services of an Architect and/or Engineer registered in Kentucky. • The project schedule consists of four phases, with a total duration of 225 days. • The project requires comprehensive interior design services and must meet Industry Standards and all local, State, and Federal building codes.
