Navigator Organization Grants Fiscal Year 2027

The State of Vermont is seeking applications from organizations to provide navigator services to individuals and families in Vermont. The goal of the navigator program is to provide fair and impartial information to consumers about their health coverage options and to assist them in enrolling in a qualified health plan. The program will run from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, and applicants can apply for up to $40,000 in funding. The selected organizations will be responsible for recruiting and training navigators, managing grant funding, and providing reports to the State of Vermont. * Key aspects of the job include: * Providing in-person and virtual assistance to Vermonters in understanding their health coverage options * Educating consumers about health insurance terminology and plan structure * Assisting consumers in applying for coverage through the range of private plans offered on Vermont Health Connect * Maintaining proficiency in eligibility, enrollment, and program specifications * Providing information and services in a fair, accurate, and impartial manner * Facilitating selection of a qualified health plan and/or Medicaid and Dr. Dynasaur
