CONNECTING CHARLESTON BOULEVARD INITIATIVE

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is seeking proposals for the Connecting Charleston Boulevard Initiative, a comprehensive 18-month planning project aimed at accelerating redevelopment along Charleston Boulevard. The project will produce an implementation-ready roadmap for transit-oriented development (TOD) along a three-mile portion of the corridor. The study will include a detailed analysis of existing conditions, market readiness and gap analysis, and a robust public engagement process. The final plan will include visualizations, measurable outcomes, and actionable strategies to guide affordable housing production, active transportation improvements, and coordinated redevelopment efforts. • The project will focus on the three-mile portion of Charleston Boulevard between Valley View Boulevard and Rainbow Boulevard. • The study will evaluate public and private investment scenarios, identify priority infrastructure and development opportunities, and compile best practices tailored to the corridor. • The final plan will include a draft project schedule, a detailed work plan, and a price proposal. • The project will require a robust public engagement process, including community outreach and stakeholder involvement. • The proposal should include a description of the proposer's experience and qualifications, a detailed work plan, and a price proposal.
