Study to Provide Correctional Facility

The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to develop a comprehensive study for a new, 3,000+‑bed correctional facility to be located somewhere in New York State. The study will cover site planning, feasibility, environmental impact, security design, cost estimating, and compliance with state building codes and sustainability initiatives. Firms must submit a Letter of Interest that includes both technical and administrative components, meet MBE/WBE/SDVOB goals, and adhere to a strict submission deadline. • Scope includes conceptual design, site analysis, environmental assessments, security systems, and construction‑management advisement. • Required deliverables: technical submission (≤30 pages) and administrative forms (certificates, MWBE plans, etc.). • Contract term: 5 years, with multiple possible locations statewide.
