Nitrogen Trailer Rental (Portsmouth Naval Shipyard)

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking to identify sources capable of supporting a Firm Fixed Price contract for the rental of a High Pressure Nitrogen Gas DOT rated Tube Trailer. The contractor will be required to replace the trailer within 24-48 hours after notification from PNSY. The trailer must meet certain requirements, including having a minimum volume of 40,000 scf and being able to supply High-Pressure Nitrogen from 2100 psig to 3000 psig. The contractor will also be required to provide startup training to PNSY. • The contractor must meet all performance requirements for pressure and volume detailed in the specification. • The contractor must deliver a trailer-mounted pressure vessel system that meets the minimum pressure and volume requirements. • The contractor must provide a quantity of pressure vessel tubes that meet the minimum pressure requirements. • The contractor must equip each trailer with a CGA 1340 fitting to support a minimum gas flow rate of 150 Standard Cubic Feet per Minute (scfm).
