USNS MEDGAR EVERS ( T-AKE 13) ROH/DD

The U.S. Navy is seeking a qualified shipyard to perform a Regular Overhaul and Dry‑Dock (ROH/DD) on the USNS MEDGAR EVERS (T‑AKE 13) for FY 27 Q3. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price with optional Category B line items covering physical security, continuation of services, and other ancillary work. The shipyard must have the capability to accommodate a 689‑ft logistics support vessel, provide extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hazardous‑waste services, and meet strict safety and quality‑assurance standards. The period of performance runs from early March 2027 through late July 2027. • Perform complete overhaul and dry‑dock services, including propulsion, electrical, hull, and systems refurbishment. • Provide utility support (shore power, water, fuel, waste handling) and comply with environmental and safety regulations. • Submit detailed technical and price proposals via the PEE portal, with optional Category B security and continuation items priced separately. • Mandatory compliance with Navy inspection and acceptance procedures at Norfolk, VA, and adherence to LPTA evaluation criteria.
