DTCC Flexible Benefits Plan

Delaware Technical and Community College is seeking professional services to provide insurance coverage for the College's Flexible Benefits Plan, including Group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance and Dental Insurance. The selected vendor will be required to enter into a written agreement with the College. The term of the contract shall be for 3 years with optional extensions. The College is looking for a vendor that can provide high-quality claims service and customer service, including timely electronic submission of claims by providers and superior levels of service to employees and administrative staff. The vendor should have experience working with government and/or higher education institutions and should be able to meet the College's requirements, including providing online database processes for enrollment and deletion of employees' coverages. Key aspects of the proposal include: • Providing Group Life and AD&D Insurance and Dental Insurance • Meeting the College's requirements for claims service and customer service • Having experience working with government and/or higher education institutions • Being able to meet the College's requirements for online database processes and enrollment • Providing detailed descriptions of administrative and claims services • Including specimens of benefit brochures and administrative reports • Describing how the vendor handles COBRA, HIPAA, and open enrollment • Providing a detailed description of the proposal, including pricing and any deviations from current coverage plans
