Wyoming Universal Service Fund 2026 Audit

The State of Wyoming is seeking a Certified Public Accountant firm to perform an audit of the Wyoming Universal Service Fund. The audit will review financial records, accounting controls, and methodologies used to calculate the WUSF surcharge. The selected firm will be required to perform the audit in accordance with all applicable and generally accepted auditing standards and submit a final written audit report by November 10, 2026. The scope of work includes reviewing financial records, adequacy of accounting controls, methodology for determining annual WUSF surcharge, and methodology used by wireline and wireless companies to determine remittances to the WUSF. * Review financial records for accuracy and consistency * Review adequacy of accounting controls * Review methodology for determining annual WUSF surcharge * Review methodology used by wireline and wireless companies to determine remittances to the WUSF * Validate data inputs provided in WUSF Annual Reports * Submit a final written audit report by November 10, 2026
