Description
This solicitation seeks a certified and insured vendor to perform fire extinguisher inspections, maintenance, repairs, and possible replacements at the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Wind Creek State Park. All work must comply with NFPA 10 standards and be completed no later than the end of March 2027, within normal park operating hours. The park will provide the extinguishers for shop‑based inspection, minimizing on‑site travel. The contract is limited to a total ceiling of $25,000 and may be renewed annually for up to five years.
• Inspect 88 fire extinguishers (various ABC sizes, 1 Class K, 1 water extinguisher) per NFPA 10 requirements.
• Perform any required servicing, recharging, hydro‑tests, and replace extinguishers identified as deficient; pricing to be entered as $0.00 with discount comments per solicitation instructions.
• Vendor must submit proof of certification and insurance with the bid; all work must be performed by a certified technician.
