2026 Power Broom RFP Polk County Highway

The Polk County Highway Department is seeking proposals for the purchase of one new, current year self-propelled power broom. The proposal packet and list of specifications can be obtained by contacting Rod McGee, the Fleet Manager. Proposals are due to the Polk County Highway Department by 3:00 PM on July 13, 2026. The successful vendor will be notified by phone, and the installer shall have 90 days upon receipt of the truck to complete installation and deliver the completed truck to the Polk County Highway Department. • The proposal must be filled out completely and sealed in an envelope marked "Power Broom" with the vendor's name on the envelope. • The vendor shall report to Polk County any manufacturer product price reductions, model changes, and product substitutions. • No substitutions are allowed without prior approval from Polk County. • Polk County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, as deemed in the best interest of the County.
