Description
The State of Maryland’s Department of Veterans & Military Families is seeking a licensed, insured tree‑care contractor to remove and grind trees at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery. Nineteen trees (including 15 hazardous/dead trees) must be felled, debris removed (except for four woodline trees), and fifteen stumps ground to a depth of 4‑6 inches. Work must be performed without damaging gravesites, monuments, utilities, or other cemetery infrastructure, and must comply with ANSI A300 standards, state and local regulations, and safety requirements. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, small‑procurement award limited to certified small‑business vendors, with a three‑month performance period.
