The selected artist or artist team will be responsible for designing and installing the mural, which should be highly durable and require minimal maintenance. The City is looking for an artist or artist team that can work collaboratively with the community and create a design that is inclusive and representative of the North End's history and diversity. Some key features of the project include: * The mural will be located on a precast concrete wall shaped in a U, with a total length of 313 feet and a height of 8 feet. * The paint used must be suitable for exterior application with minimal maintenance. * The selected artwork must be highly durable and able to be cleaned in case of damage due to graffiti. * The City is looking for an artist or artist team that can work collaboratively with the community and create a design that is inclusive and representative of the North End's history and diversity. * The project will involve a two-phase selection process, with a stipend awarded to finalists for the development of a detailed design proposal. * The City is seeking an artist or artist team that can complete the project within 180 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
