Description
The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to paint and surface‑prepare the structural steel and related elements of the North Ohio Street overpass. The scope includes roadway and pedestrian fences, concrete barriers, street‑light poles, bollard lights, and the rail portion of the concrete barrier, all requiring multiple colour applications. Bidders must hold a KDOT pre‑qualification for structural steel painting (Work Type Q). The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder after a public opening.
• Paint and prep ~531 ft bridge, fences, barriers, 30+ light poles, and rail components.

• Sealed bids due by 2 p.m. CT, Oct 29 2026; bid package cost $22.00.
• All terms of the original solicitation remain unchanged except for the revised bid date.
