The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is conducting market research for cafeteria and vending services at their facility in Kearneysville, West Virginia. The services required include cafeteria operations, patron payment and refunds, deliveries and receiving, cleaning, sanitation, and waste handling, food safety and inspections, environmental, health, and safety (EHS) and emergencies, vending operations, reporting, and financial management. The contractor will be responsible for providing these services in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Some key aspects of the job include: • Operating and managing cafeteria services, including breakfast and lunch offerings • Maintaining sanitation and food safety controls • Providing vending machine operations and maintenance • Implementing payment processing controls, including PCI and contactless payments • Providing routine reporting, including weekly menus and monthly management reporting The contractor will need to demonstrate experience in providing similar services, particularly in secure or controlled-access facilities. They will also need to show their ability to meet operating hour requirements, provide customer service, and maintain food safety and quality control.
