EOI Combined Support Maintenance Shop Exhaust System Repairs

The West Virginia Army National Guard, Construction and Facilities Management Office, is seeking professional design services to develop construction documents for a failing exhaust system located at the Joint Forces Reserve Center, Combined Support Maintenance Shop in Eleanor, WV. The selected vendor will need to perform a complete inspection of the underground exhaust system, determine the cause of the failure, and provide a design fix for the problem. The project goals and objectives include providing a design that incorporates all engineering and architectural disciplines, preparing construction bid documents, and incorporating cost-effective energy-conserving features. • The project requires the vendor to provide a design fix for the current vehicle exhaust ventilation system. • The vendor must provide all geotechnical work, including drill borings, and research the location of existing underground and above-ground utilities. • The vendor must provide drawings and specifications for any utility and road infrastructure as needed. • The vendor must submit drawings, specifications, and cost estimates at 35%, 95%, and 100% digitally, and construction documents must be submitted both digitally and in three hard copies at 100%.
