Architectural/Engineering Services for Culture Center Window

The Department of Tourism is seeking architectural and engineering services for a window replacement project at the Culture Center at the State Capitol Complex in Charleston. The project involves inspecting, evaluating, and testing the current windows, designing a new window system, and providing construction management services. The selected vendor will be required to provide a comprehensive plan for replacing all window glass that comprises the facade with glass that meets safety standards and is designed for maximum lifespan and durability. The vendor will also be required to lead a pre-bid meeting for the construction phase and provide project management and supervision services. Key requirements include: • Assessing current front-facade window conditions and providing options for correction and prevention of cracking and failure • Designing a front-facade window update that improves safety, durability, and longevity • Producing specifications for the construction phase • Providing project management and supervision services • Having experience with similar projects and providing references and staff qualifications
