Liquid Polyaluminum Chloride

The City of Waco is seeking bids for the provision of liquid polyaluminum chloride coagulant for use at the City's Dissolved Air Flotation Facility. The contractor shall furnish all product, transportation, delivery labor, transfer equipment, hoses, fittings, adapters, documentation, technical assistance, safety equipment, qualification-test support, and other materials and services necessary to comply with the specifications. The bid package includes a pricing form, contract requirements, and technical specifications. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defects, irregularities, or informalities in any bid or procedure. • The contractor shall provide a minimum of 2,260,000 net pounds of liquid polyaluminum chloride per year. • The contractor shall deliver the product to the City's facility in Waco, Texas. • The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to unload and transfer the product. • The contractor shall provide technical assistance and support to the City's staff. • The contractor shall maintain all delivery vehicles and equipment in safe and serviceable condition. • The contractor shall provide a Supply Continuity Statement identifying the liquid polyaluminum chloride manufacturer, primary manufacturing location, primary distribution or shipping location, and primary transportation provider.
