NCF Dietary and Laundry Hot Water Tank Replacement

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services for the replacement of a hot water tank at the NCF Dietary and Laundry facility. The selected firm will be responsible for providing design services, including field examination of existing mechanical and building systems, design for scope of work, and construction administration. The project is expected to commence in May 2026 and be completed by January 2027. The scope of work includes: • Design services for the replacement of a hot water tank • Field examination of existing mechanical and building systems • Design for scope of work • Construction administration • Compliance with all Federal, State, and applicable AHJ codes The selected firm will be required to provide a lump sum price for the design services, including all reimbursable expenses. The firm will also be required to provide hourly rates and anticipated hours by position for all personnel assigned to the project.
