Income Tax Forecast

The City of Cincinnati is seeking a consultant to provide expertise in demographic and economic analysis for forecasting the City's income tax revenue over the period 2023-2028. The selected consultant will work with the City's Finance Department and prepare a comprehensive report to provide context for the City's long-term financial forecast. The report should include deliverables such as economic trends and five-year outlook, net profit analysis, comparison to other areas, analysis and conclusions, and project meetings. The consultant will also be required to make a formal presentation to the City's Budget and Finance Committee. • The consultant should have experience in demographic and economic analysis and forecasting. • The consultant should be able to work with the City's Finance Department and other stakeholders. • The consultant should be able to prepare a comprehensive report and make a formal presentation to the City's Budget and Finance Committee. • The consultant should be able to provide a separate cost proposal for conducting a five-year review of non-personnel expenditures and providing an annual inflationary increase factor.
