Janitorial Services - Auditor of Public Accounts

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Auditor of Public Accounts. The services will be performed at the Auditor of Public Accounts located at 209 St. Clair Street, Frankfort, KY. The facility is approximately 32,266 square feet and services are to be performed Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. The vendor will be responsible for providing all cleaning supplies and equipment, and for satisfactorily managing and performing cleaning services necessary to ensure that the facility maintains a clean and orderly condition. • Daily cleaning tasks include emptying waste baskets, cleaning and sanitizing high touch areas, sweeping and mopping floors, and collecting and removing trash from the building. • Weekly cleaning tasks include cleaning entrance, exit, vestibule, and front lobby glass, cleaning entire glass on walls, interior doors, and partitions, and sweeping floors in the training room. • Monthly cleaning tasks include polishing desks, chairs, and tables, vacuuming or dusting venetian blinds, drapes, etc. • The vendor will also be responsible for cleaning restrooms, including cleaning and sanitizing all toilet bowls, urinals, and sinks, and refilling dispensers and replenishing paper goods. • The contract will be for an initial period of one year from the date of award, with the option to extend for four additional two-year periods.
