Sewer Pump Station Operation and Maintenance Services, and Sewer System Emergency Response

The Tiverton Wastewater District (TWWD) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide ongoing operation, maintenance, and emergency‑response services for its four sewer pump stations and two metering stations. The contractor will perform routine weekly inspections, maintain generators, update preventive‑maintenance schedules, and deliver 24/7 alarm monitoring. When triggered, the contractor must respond within two hours to alarms, provide emergency power, and execute pump‑down operations for sewer‑system overflows. The scope excludes capital repairs, spare‑part procurement, and other non‑excluded services which remain the district’s responsibility. • Weekly visits to each pump station (≤ 4 hrs per visit) and generator inspections. • 24/7 alarm monitoring and emergency response within 2 hours, including provision of a 240 V, ≥ 6.5 kW generator for Riverside grinder pumps. • Monthly status reporting, preventive‑maintenance schedule updates, and optional participation in TWWD meetings.
