2026 Filter Media Replacement

The City of Elgin is seeking bids for the replacement of GAC Filter Media at its Riverside Water Treatment Plant. The project includes the removal of approximately 1,090 cu. ft. of granular activated carbon from each of two filters, furnishing and installing virgin granular activated carbon, and rebuilding of the Leopold model S surface agitator wash arms. The project also includes furnishing and installing filter sand.
