The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking qualified sources to provide Health Insurance for Service Dogs for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Prosthetic Sensory Aid Services (PSAS) organization. The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified Businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification code (NAICS): 524128. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing veterinary health insurance coverage for Service Dogs owned by U.S. Military Veterans • Comprehensive wellness and health plan, as well as sick/injured insurance coverage • Coverage for all treatments determined to be medically necessary by a licensed veterinarian • No out-of-pocket expenses for Veterans, except for costs exceeding the maximum amount authorized by the policy • Compliance with Title 38 CFR § 17.148 and HIPAA regulations
