Reappraisal and Revaluation of Real Property for the City of Middletown

The City of Middletown is seeking a qualified appraisal firm to perform a reappraisal and revaluation of all taxable and exempt real property within the city limits. The selected firm will utilize the city's Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal Software System (CAMA) to complete the project. The project includes providing all equipment, materials, forms, supplies, and work necessary to complete the reappraisal. The firm will be evaluated based on technical competence, capacity, and past record of performance. • The project requires the firm to possess a valid Connecticut Revaluation Company Certification. • The firm must provide a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. • The project has a scheduled completion date of October 1, 2027, with various milestones and deadlines throughout the project. • The city reserves the right to waive any defect or irregularity in the RFP and to reject any or all proposals. • The selected firm must comply with all municipal, state, and federal affirmative action and equal employment opportunity requirements.
