Architecture/Engineering Services for Design Services in the Implementation of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program – Washington Parish Safe Room Project

This RFQ seeks qualified Architecture/Engineering firms to provide full design and construction‑oversight services for a dual‑use hurricane safe‑room project funded through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program in Washington Parish, Louisiana. The selected firm will develop construction‑ready plans that meet FEMA P‑361 standards, coordinate with local officials, and provide on‑site oversight during construction. • Design of a FEMA‑compliant safe‑room (near‑absolute life‑safety protection) for the parish’s Emergency Operations Center. • Full civil/structural engineering documentation, permitting support, and construction‑phase inspection/quality‑control. • Demonstrated experience with disaster‑mitigation projects, FEMA grant compliance, and Louisiana building codes. • Submission of one original hard copy, one electronic copy, and three additional hard copies by the July 28 2026 deadline.
