RFP Investment Advisory Services

The Brazos River Authority (BRA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide non-discretionary investment advisory services for its estimated $170 million investment portfolio. The selected firm will be required to manage the funds in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the BRA's investment policies and procedures. The scope of services includes reviewing cash flow requirements, developing an investment strategy, executing securities purchases and sales, providing monthly and quarterly reports, and attending meetings with the BRA Board of Directors. The BRA encourages all prospective investment advisors to examine this RFP carefully and submit proposals to provide the services described. • The BRA is seeking a firm with experience in managing fixed-income portfolios for public funds and governmental entities. • The selected firm will be required to provide comprehensive investment management and accounting services. • The firm will be compensated pursuant to the provisions of its contract with the BRA. • The BRA reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by the respondent fails to satisfy the BRA that the respondent is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract. • The BRA will evaluate proposals based on demonstrated competence and qualifications, and then attempt to negotiate a contract at a fair and reasonable price.
