Rough River LakeAxtel Wastewater Treatment Plant Replacement

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District will issue an IFB for a firm‑fixed‑price construction contract to replace the Rough River Lake Axtel Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope includes complete demolition of the existing plant, removal of perimeter fencing and gravel surfacing, and construction of a new subsurface wastewater treatment and disposal system. Major elements comprise precast concrete pretreatment septic tanks, lift stations, dose stations, a packaged aerobic treatment unit, soil‑drip dispersal field, gravity and pressure sewer piping, full electrical and control systems, site grading, erosion control, and restoration of security fencing. An optional line‑item for rock excavation is also included.
