Description
The City of Riverside is seeking a qualified firm to act as Deputy Inspector and to provide comprehensive materials testing and reporting for the new 46,300‑sq‑ft Police Headquarters Administration Building. The contractor will conduct grading and compaction inspections, structural‑steel and fire‑proofing inspections, concrete and soils testing, and will produce daily logs, test reports, non‑conformance documentation, and a final inspection summary. The contract is for an initial two‑year term with an optional one‑year extension, and the total ceiling is $300,000 (including a $50,000 owner’s allowance). The firm must hold current ICC certifications, have at least five years of relevant experience, and carry specified insurance limits. Proposals are due August 28, 2026, with questions due August 18, 2026, and award expected in November 2026.
