RPQ WINDOW/DOOR, GLASS, COMMERCIAL, REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT

The Palm Beach County Purchasing Department is seeking pre-qualified vendors for window/door, glass, commercial, repair, and replacement services on a term contract basis. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible respondent or vendor unless a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) bid is within ten percent of the lowest non-small business bid. Vendors must comply with the County's Commercial Nondiscrimination Policy and provide equal opportunity for subcontractors, subconsultants, vendors, and suppliers to participate in all public sector and private sector subcontracting and supply opportunities. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing window/door, glass, commercial, repair, and replacement services • Complying with federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations • Maintaining a drug-free workplace • Implementing a commercial nondiscrimination policy • Providing equal opportunity for subcontractors, subconsultants, vendors, and suppliers • Complying with the County's Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) Program • Submitting a completed Request for Pre-Qualification response form • Including all applicable certifications, licenses, and permits with the response • Maintaining a current Business Tax Receipt for Palm Beach County and all required permits • Complying with the requirements of Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, regarding public records • Providing records related to all charges, expenses, and costs incurred in estimating and performing the work for at least five years after completion or termination of the contract. Some of the key requirements for vendors include: • Being registered in the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system • Having a current Business Tax Receipt for Palm Beach County • Maintaining all required certifications, licenses, and permits • Complying with the County's EBO Program and providing equal opportunity for S/M/WBE participation • Submitting a completed Request for Pre-Qualification response form and all required documentation.
