Juvenile Detention and Probation Center Remodel – Architectural and Engineering Design Services

The City of Carson City is seeking a qualified architectural and engineering design firm to provide services for the remodel of the Juvenile Detention and Probation Center. The project includes a 4,300 square foot addition to the existing Juvenile Courts and Detention building, as well as remodeling of the existing detention building and Juvenile Probation building. The selected firm will be responsible for providing all architectural and engineering services required to complete the project, including design development, bidding, and construction phase services. • The project has an estimated construction cost of $11,000,000. • The selected firm will be required to provide a detailed experience history of similar projects, including project overview, budget, and location. • The firm will also be required to provide a statement of project understanding, including their approach to the design and how they will coordinate with subconsultants, City staff, and partnering agencies. • The project is expected to be completed within 12 months.
