Stop Loss Coverage

The Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a vendor to provide Medical/Rx stop-loss insurance coverage. The goal is to purchase coverage at the maximum end-use value per dollar spent, while protecting the interests of Cleveland Metroparks and the taxpayers in Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township. The vendor must provide rate cap options and no new laser options. The coverage should include specific and aggregate deductible options, contract basis options, and covered expenses for medical/Rx. • The proposal process is being managed by Oswald Companies on behalf of Cleveland Metroparks. • Vendors must contact Ashley Mays or Christy Conrath to obtain applicable attachments and respond directly to Oswald by the proposal due date. • The effective date of the coverage is January 1, 2027. • The proposal due date is August 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (EST). • The coverage is for 675 eligible employees, with an 80% employer-paid contribution.
