Issue Date: 04/08/2024 Contract Number: PON 5737 Technical Assistance Funding to Develop Grid Modernization Projects Description: Technical Assistance Funding to Develop Grid Modernization Projects NYSERDA's 15% cost share for DOE funding will be provided exclusively to MUNIs/COOPs to fund technical consultants that will assist them with performing technical analyses needed to understand the impact of their proposed project, designing a process to comply with DOE metrics reporting requirements should they receive funding, and compiling a well-rounded, thorough application for funding. Also eligible entities who do not seek funding for technical consulting can apply to seek funding for implementation projects that fall under the approved list provided by the DOE so long as it does not cost more than the maximum amount of assistance that will be provided ($200k).
