Request for Proposals for Mattress and Box Spring Collection and Recycling Services

The Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority (NMWDA) is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive mattress and box‑spring collection, transportation, processing, recycling, and residual disposal services for its member jurisdictions across eight Maryland counties. The contract will be a Master Service Agreement lasting five years (July 1 2027 – June 30 2032) with individual “Confirmations” issued per jurisdiction as work is needed. Vendors must supply collection containers, perform weekly pickups, manage weight‑ticket documentation, and ensure all material is recycled or properly disposed of in compliance with environmental regulations.
