NATO Request for Information: Allied Future Surveillance and Control (AFSC) Enhanced Tactical Connectivity (eTacC) Capability

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is seeking information from industry, academia, and nations to support the analysis of alternatives for the Allied Future Surveillance and Control (AFSC) Enhanced Tactical Connectivity (eTacC) Capability. The eTacC capability aims to enable increased connectivity at the tactical edge across a multitude of legacy and emergent bearers, waveforms, and protocols. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to involve industry, academia, and nations through collaboration, for their input to NATO's requirement for commercial SA For MDO services. Some key points to consider include: • The eTacC capability seeks to enhance NATO's ability to execute duties across the SACEUR AOR to provide the capability to communicate beyond line of sight during multidomain operations. • The implementation of eTacC requires coherent alignment with other related and interconnected work strands. • Respondents are advised that HQ SACT will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this RFI. • The costs for responding to this RFI shall be borne solely by the responding party. • Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any subsequent RFP if issued in the future.
