The Delaware Department of Education is soliciting a single‑prime logistics vendor (or prime‑vendor joint‑venture) to provide full‑service shipping, receiving, and verification of science‑kit containers for K‑12 schools across the state. The contractor will move approximately 25,000 bins each year between the John Collette Education Resource Center and individual school sites, maintain detailed tracking records, and submit quarterly diversity‑supplier reports. The contract is for one year with up to four optional one‑year extensions. • Load, unload, stage, and sort science‑kit bins (≈ 25 k bins/yr) at the central hub and deliver to ~135 schools per cycle. • Operate within normal work hours 7 a.m.–4 p.m. (lunch 12–1 p.m.) and provide written confirmation of each delivery/return. • Must be a Delaware‑licensed business, carry specified insurance, complete background checks, and provide a verification/tracking system as outlined in Appendix B. • Submit a sealed paper copy and an electronic copy on USB by June 9 2026, 2 PM, including all mandatory attachments (transmittal, non‑collusion, references, insurance, etc.). • No pre‑bid meeting required; all coordination through the designated DDOE contact.
