Description

This pre‑solicitation notice announces a forthcoming nationwide IDIQ Design‑Build and Construction Multiple‑Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the Veterans Health Administration. The IDIQ will have a total ceiling of $7.5 billion and will be awarded as multiple firm‑fixed‑price task orders over a five‑year ordering period (one base year plus four option years). All qualified contractors, including an SDVOSB set‑aside component, are invited to register in SAM and prepare for the formal RFP expected around October 30 2026. The scope covers new construction, renovation, repair, and design‑build services at VA medical facilities across the United States.

Budget estimate

$10,000,000 – $200,000,000

The overall MATOC ceiling is $7.5 billion, but individual contractors will win only portions of that amount based on the number and size of task orders they secure. A large, experienced construction firm could realistically earn anywhere from low‑single‑digit millions to low‑hundreds of millions over the five‑year period, depending on how many high‑value task orders it is awarded.
