Mobile Library

The City of Pendleton is seeking a qualified proposer to provide and customize a transit van with the necessary equipment to provide wheelchair accessible mobile library services. The proposer will be responsible for constructing and customizing the mobile library, which will include features such as a 2024/25 Ford Transit-350 Cargo van, wheelchair lift, graphic wrap, and interior cargo shelving. The proposer will also be required to provide a project schedule, experience and references, and insurance coverage statement. The City will evaluate and weigh the proposals based on the following criteria: required features, letter of interest, experience and references, project understanding and approach, total cost, and schedule experience and capabilities. • The mobile library must be operational by September 1st, 2026 • The proposer must provide a comprehensive general liability insurance policy with a minimum limit of $200,000/$500,000 for injury to one person, $500,000 for injury to two or more persons in one occurrence, and $50,000/$500,000 for damage to property • The proposer must indemnify and defend the City from any cost, claim, loss, or liability suffered directly or from a third-party claim arising out of or related to any negligent activity of the proposer in the execution of the contract • The City reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon sixty (60) days written notice to the proposer
