Thunderbirds Alterations

The United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron (USAFADS) Thunderbirds are requesting the re-establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for alterations to their uniforms. The contractor will be responsible for making alterations to the Thunderbird duty uniform shirt and pant, as well as repairing any uniform items that are deemed still serviceable with repair. The BPA will be for a period of 5 years, and individual call orders placed under this BPA shall not exceed a total combination of $25,000.00 per call unless signed by a Contracting Officer. Some key requirements of the job include: • Making alterations to the Thunderbird duty uniform shirt, such as adjusting sleeve length and sewing creases • Making alterations to the Thunderbird duty uniform pant, such as adjusting pant length and sewing pockets • Repairing any uniform items that are deemed still serviceable with repair • Applying or removing Thunderbird patches to fleece or blue jackets • Complying with all relevant federal, state, and local statutes, ordinances, laws, and regulations
