Request for Information - Warhead High Precision Liners

The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island is seeking information from interested Continental United States (CONUS) sources for the existing capability to manufacture high precision shaped charge, explosively formed penetrator (EFP), multiple explosively formed penetrator (MEFP) liners for anti-armor and anti-materiel warheads. Respondents shall provide information on their capabilities, experience, and facilities to produce these liners at rates between 10,000 and 100,000 per year. Key aspects to be addressed include prior experience, facility and equipment descriptions, production rates, and staffing levels. The information gathered will be used to develop the acquisition strategy for future requirements. • The liners must have high geometric tolerances and extremely high material purity. • Respondents must describe their inspection capability and past experience fielding high precision shaped charge, EFP, or MEFP liners. • The Government is interested in information on capabilities to produce liners at rates between 10,000 and 100,000 per year. • Respondents must provide a detailed description of their existing manufacturing facility footprint, explosive loading bays, and storage areas. • The Government intends to use the information received to develop the acquisition strategy for future requirements.
