Wibaux MCS Scale Restroom and Vaulted Facility Maintenance Miles City Area

The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the maintenance of the Wibaux MCS Scale Restroom and Vaulted Facility located in Wibaux County on I-94 milepost 240.5 eastbound and westbound. The work includes furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, tools, and materials to maintain and operate the facility, including routine cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. The contract term is for 12 months, from April 15, 2026, to April 14, 2027. • The facility includes restrooms, vaulted toilets, grounds, parking lots, and other areas. • The contractor will be responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance, including emptying garbage containers, replenishing soap and paper goods, and performing minor repairs. • The contractor will also be responsible for deep cleaning the facility at least twice a month. • The Department will provide utilities, including electrical, water, and sewer, and will be responsible for major repairs to the sewage or water system. • The contractor will be required to keep a daily log and submit it to the Department twice a month. • The contract may be terminated for failure to provide services or accomplish work, and the Department reserves the right to require the contractor to remove employees who endanger persons or property.
