This solicitation seeks a qualified firm to develop comprehensive design guidelines for the town’s development projects. The guidelines will outline standards, best practices, and specifications to ensure consistent, sustainable, and aesthetically appropriate development across municipal jurisdictions. The contractor will collaborate with town officials, review existing policies, and produce a final, publishable document that can be used by planners, architects, engineers, and developers. • Conduct a thorough review of current town planning documents, zoning ordinances, and relevant state regulations. • Develop clear, illustrated design standards covering site layout, building form, streetscapes, landscaping, and sustainability criteria. • Deliver a complete guideline package (PDF and editable formats) along with an executive summary for town leadership. • Provide facilitation workshops or briefings for town staff and stakeholders to ensure adoption and implementation.
