CONNECTING CHARLESTON BOULEVARD INITIATIVE

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is seeking a consultant to develop an implementation-ready roadmap for transit-oriented development along the three-mile portion of Charleston Boulevard between Valley View Boulevard and Rainbow Boulevard. The project will include a detailed analysis of existing conditions, market readiness and gap analysis, public engagement, and evaluation of public and private investment scenarios. The final plan will include visualizations, measurable outcomes, and actionable strategies to guide affordable housing production, active transportation improvements, and coordinated redevelopment efforts. • The project will be an 18-month planning initiative. • The consultant will be required to provide a detailed work plan, staffing plan, and community engagement plan. • The consultant will be required to have experience in transportation and land use planning, transit-oriented development, and affordable housing. • The consultant will be required to have a strong understanding of the Charleston Boulevard corridor and the City of Las Vegas. • The consultant will be required to provide a price proposal and federal conditions forms.
