Description
The U.S. Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) is conducting market research to identify mature or emerging wearable technologies that can improve soldier safety during demanding training events. The desired solution must provide two‑way voice/data communication, real‑time GPS location (≤10 m accuracy, updates ≤30 s), continuous biometric monitoring (core temperature, heart rate, optional SpO₂, respiration, hydration, fall detection), and a command‑center dashboard with AI‑driven alerts for up to 400 devices. Hardware must be lightweight, IP67‑rated, >24 h battery life, waterproof, and easily sanitized. Cybersecurity must meet DoD RMF/ATO requirements with FIPS‑validated encryption and PHI/PII safeguards. Vendors are asked to submit an 8‑page white paper covering company info, solution description, TRL, performance, cybersecurity posture, scalability, support, lead times, existing contract vehicles, and a rough order‑of‑magnitude cost model. No commitment to award or pay for responses; this is purely for market research.
• Target users: ARSOF soldiers in assessment, selection, qualification, and PME courses.
• Core capabilities: two‑way comms, GPS/geofencing, continuous vitals, AI‑driven dashboard, rugged lightweight wearable, DoD‑grade cybersecurity.
• Desired scale: monitoring 400+ devices per base station, multi‑site deployment.
• Submission format: ≤8‑page white paper, no classified material, SAM registration required.
