The United States Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of designing, fabricating, delivering, installing, and commissioning a new 60‑metric‑ton self‑powered boat trailer (model 60 SU‑2) and disposing of the existing trailer. The effort includes full turnkey delivery, removal of the old trailer, and on‑site training for Coast Guard personnel. Interested firms must be registered in SAM and submit capability statements by the response deadline.
• Design, engineering, and full fabrication of a 60‑ton self‑powered boat trailer.
• Delivery, installation, testing to 110 % of the working load limit, and one‑day on‑site training.
• Complete removal, disassembly, and environmentally compliant disposal of the existing trailer.
• All work must comply with applicable USCG, OSHA, and environmental regulations, with a minimum five‑year parts‑and‑labor warranty.
