NASA HR-1 Demonstrator Chamber and Qualification Samples

NASA is seeking capability statements for a sole‑source award to produce a large‑scale demonstrator chamber and qualification samples using NASA HR‑1 Fe‑Ni alloy via Laser Powder Directed Energy Deposition (LP‑DED). The work includes design, tool‑path generation, machine setup, build execution on a dedicated 557‑laser system (≥ 90 in. tall, ≥ 80 in. diameter), inspection, and reporting, with a 6‑month period of performance from authority to proceed. Deliverables are the chamber hardware, witness coupons, and associated build and inspection reports.
