Bulk Liquified Petroleum Gas - Propane

The Caesar Rodney School District is seeking a vendor to provide bulk liquefied petroleum gas (propane) to all district facilities. The contract requires delivery of propane, ownership and maintenance of tanks, regulators, and related equipment at no cost to the district, and the ability to offer automatic replenishment and emergency deliveries. The vendor must hold a Delaware business license, register on the state supplier portal, and meet extensive insurance and reporting requirements. • Supply bulk propane meeting ASTM D1835 specifications and maintain vapor pressure for all ambient temperatures. • Deliver propane to any district site; provide automatic replenishment and 4‑hour emergency delivery for state‑declared emergencies. • Own, install, test, maintain, and at contract end remove all tanks, regulators, valves, and exterior piping (agency‑owned tanks may be replaced if non‑compliant). • Provide a single point of contact for service, monthly usage reports, and quarterly sub‑contractor reports; no subcontracting is permitted. • Contract term is one year (Sept 9 2026‑Sept 8 2027) with up to five optional one‑year renewals, and all bids must be submitted by Aug 19 2026.
