Description
The City of Austin’s Transportation and Public Works Department is seeking an authorized dealer to supply a variety of UV‑rated traffic‑signal cables for installation, maintenance, and repair projects city‑wide. The contract will be awarded on a “first‑responsive” basis, with deliveries required within 60 calendar days of order placement. Vendors must provide product data sheets, ensure cables are marked every 10 ft, and ship on 3‑inch reels in exact footage. All shipments are FOB destination, freight prepaid, and invoicing is to be sent electronically to the city’s accounts payable address.
• Minimum 1‑year experience supplying similar products to a comparable agency
• Must be an authorized dealer/reseller of the specified cable types (5‑conductor, 7‑conductor, composite coax + 3 conductors, single twisted pair)
• Cables must meet IMSA specifications and be UV‑rated for outdoor use
• Delivery to 8900 Cameron Rd, Austin, TX 78754 within 60 days of order

• Required documentation: manufacturer data sheets, shipping tickets, and confirmation of quantities within 2 hours of order notification.
