Description
The City of Austin is seeking qualified engineering consultants to provide professional staff augmentation for its Transportation (TPW) divisions. The effort will supplement existing city staff with skilled engineers and related professionals across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, traffic, drainage, field, and project management). Respondents must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) by the deadline, attend an optional pre‑response meeting, and comply with the city’s MBE/WBE participation goals and insurance requirements. The selection process is expected to conclude in March 2027 with contract execution in April 2027.
• Scope: Provide engineering and project‑management personnel to support TPW transportation projects (design, analysis, field work, traffic studies, etc.).
• Required qualifications: Demonstrated experience in transportation‑related engineering, staff availability, compliance with city’s minority‑owned business goals, and extensive insurance coverage.
• Submission: SOQ due 12/01/2026 02:00 PM CST via eResponse; includes compliance plan, experience forms, and insurance certificates.
• Timeline: Publication 10/20/2026 → Pre‑response meeting 10/28/2026 (optional) → Submission deadline 12/01/2026 → Evaluation → Award 03/25/2027 → Contract start 04/11/2027.
